This privacy policy explains what personal information is collected on this website, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

Who we are

This website is operated by Sarah O’Toole, based in Galway, Ireland. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact sarahotoole@pm.me.

What we collect and why

We collect personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Course bookings. When you book a course, we collect your name, email address, phone number, emergency contact details, and any access needs or relevant information you choose to share. This information is used to administer the course, contact you with practical information, and ensure your safety during in-person sessions.

  • Enquiries. When you contact us via email or a contact form, we collect the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry.

  • Mailing list. If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your name and email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

  • Website analytics. Squarespace, our website provider, collects standard analytics data including pages visited, approximate location, and device type. This is used to understand how the site is used and is not linked to individually identifying information.

How we store and protect your information

Your information is stored securely through Squarespace (our website and commerce platform) and Stripe (our payment processor). Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by us.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as needed to deliver the services you've booked (for example, sharing class participant names with a venue where required).

How long we keep your information

  • Course booking information is retained for two years after the course ends, for administrative and accounting purposes.

  • Mailing list subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe.

  • Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond and follow up.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations)

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

  • Lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie)
